So Im pretty much done with MythTV so it seemed. Only one last bit to do, buy an IR blaster to control my digital box. Everything else worked beautifuly and perfectly for what I wanted. Ok I cant get tv out working just yet, but Ill get to it. But I go and take it out of “testing” mode…aka put the case side back on it. Not only that I tucked all the cables, wrapped them, made it look good. I was ready to have it sit here in the floor for a little while till I came up with a better home for it. I was like…it will be fine here for a while. Well after a few weeks of useage, using it daily to watch tv and videos Ive downloaded…hard drive died. Im using all my old crappy drives that Ive had laying around. Well….little did I know some of them truely are bad. So here I sit rebuilding it for another time. I even have a second one sitting in the living room I was building. Was trying to build another one to test things with, and to get tv out working for use at the tv. This one will be my “backend” and where I watch tv while at the pc…but oh well I guess Ill just make it 20 times better this time 
Heading to dad’s this weekend. Long drive…going to see a good friend, and help dad wire the house. Thats going to be a major undertaking but we will get it done. Got to get it wired so maybe one day he will finaly get broadband….ok back to working on this MythTV box
