TreoAlarm
You know there are a few things in life that really work well it seems. One thing that I have a problem with is alarm clocks. I set no fewer than 3 alarms every night and still could not wake up on time. My body, like most, is so acustomed to the alarm clock we have it just ignores the loud noises coming at me 6 inches from my head. So I then put an even louder clock across the room. That didnt work either. Know what works…cell phone. You are trained to wake up at the sound of a ring it seems. One of my largest complaints is most all cell phones have crappy alarm clocks. Either they dont give you enough options, or they are totaly non-existant.
I got the Treo 650 from work and was like…where’s the alarm. Come to find out its hidden in the date/time function…then you have to basicly remember to set it daily…bah. I went looking around since its Palm based…to find one of the nicest pieces of software… TreoAlarm. I dont know how I could go without this piece of software now. I set up the normal weekly alarms to go off at 6am every morning with a loud ring like is my normal phone ring…wakes me up in a few seconds flat. It has a nice large snooze button
who doesnt love those. And you can even crank the sound up to ear piercing levels.
This isnt a one trick pony either. During the day, you also have at your fingertips an up to date weather program. Easy to configure, easy to update, and even automaticly can go out and get the latest forcast for you. Its a clean interface, its fast on the 650, and it does everything you want, nothing you dont. If you have a Treo 600 or 650…its one of those must have programs in my humble opinion TreoAlarm.
