Bowlcut’s little piece of the world

I will sit here for weeks in a nasty place…until someone threatens to stop by.  It took me all of maybe an hour or less to clean up this place and have it fairly presentable…yet I haven’t done it all week or more.  I had unloaded the car into the living room.  4 wheels and tires in front of the couch, box of parts on couch, header, 2 sets of fog lights, car was supplys, rags, sandels….all on my couch.  The love seat still has a monitor and printer on it cause I dont have any place for them.  Then i also have 2 computers sitting here, and the two seats to the NX.  Think Im going to try to turn one of them into an office chair maybe. Err just looked over shoulder, make that 5 computers sitting in front of the fireplace.  Then the kitchen…ewww i hate doing dishes…they were stacked up way too high, it was too nasty.  Oh well…Im lazy what can I say.

I never clean until anymore it seems unless i think someone may be coming over.  I rarely get visitors tho. Which isnt a bad thing really, I prefer to go to other people’s places anyway.  Debating what to do this weekend, I got a friend I really need to go see back in East TN, but its a long and expensive drive.  I need to finish out some things on the NX like clean it and put the radio in.  Then there is one picnic this weekend which would be fun to go to…meh.  Again getting busy, now with different people than normal it seems….or different than the last few years.  I guess it goes back to college again where I was the “anti-social bastard hater of all”  I can tell who wants to really do things with me or be my friend…and who just comes around when I do all the work in calling and the such.  Then there are the ones I only hear from once in a blue moon….the well its the complementry once a quarter call or email… meh.

Well since Dad complained….

Doing pretty good on no eatting out.  Ate out last night because I was up at Rod’s and we took the kids out.  Once a week maximum for me or if someone else pays.  I have to go get groceries today, the typcial Sunday stuff of shopping and laundry.  Thinking that I may start my new hours Monday.  I will be working 7am till 4pm.  Means I get home earlier, miss quite a bit of traffic, and over all just get things going or done quicker.  We tried our best to convince him to let us do rotating 12’s….but the boss said he wanted us there 5 days a week.  Im going to push for maybe 4 10’s :).

I got the short shifter installed up at Rod’s last night.  Its quite nice but that snap ring was a bitch.  Ive not seen a snap ring that thick before but we beat it into submission.  Then I go and forget to put the exhaust back on its hangers, so i go dragging that down the road.  Only hang up was, when I went to leave the Check Engine light flashed at me.  So I stoped and pulled the codes from the ECU, nothing.  It said all good.  I restarted the car and it didnt come back even with the drive home.  Ill probably pull the codes again today or this week and see if it complains anymore.

So plan for the week is try to make sure i get back to the gym this week or go get a tube for the mountain bike.  I need to get that fixed sometime. Plus I gota get this apartment a little cleaner.  I have spare parts laying everywhere, that needs to change.  If I cant sell this stuff its going in the trash no point in keeping it any longer.  Now its off to a shower and find something for lunch
