Bowlcut’s little piece of the world

Well Ive not had time to do anything.  I hate this, I love my free time, its the reason I dont have 2 jobs and paying off everything in a mad dash.  I have to have some downtime and its coming in very little doses.  Work is pure hell right now.  Im the only one there, we fired the other guy because he was unreliable and didnt do quality work.  So its me or nothing and I cant do that in the schedule we have.  Its looking like Thursday I may be working from 5:30am till 11:30pm oh and that again Friday.  We have a new girl starting Monday but I dont know how up to speed she can be by then.  Ive become the go-to person for everything.  While thats cool that everyone likes me and trusts me to get stuff done, it means Im swamped.

Seems all I talk about is work and I dont want to do that.  Ive yet to be able to go get my new(to me) car because of this schedule.  I really want to get it, I have been dieing to drive it.  Ive got 4 new wheels and tires to put on it here in my living room, then two seats out of an SE-R to go into it.  Probably the best seats ever put in a stock car under 20,000 dollars.  I need a new radio for it sometime….since I am still going to drive it a lot despite it being my race car, I do want some comfort.  The AC doesnt work right now, it may just come out since its a T top car.  Its going to be a lot of fun to finaly get.

Ive been talking to a new friend, and even got asked out to go somewhere with her.  But alas my work ethic said I had to go to work not call in sick.  So we will see…again work killing my social life.  This project at work better slow down and SOON.  There was a concert or two I reallllly wanted to go to but no I had to work.  I could have went skiing saturday, but I didnt get home till 3am friday.  Ok time to quit complaining, and get on with my sunday activites.  I need to go run also.  Got 2.5 miles wednesday, going to try for that again today, when I can get up and feeling ready to run.

Well I have half the day off today.  Only have to go in at 2:30 till say 11:30.  I guess thats something, then Sunday no production so no IT needed.  First weekend in a month or so that Ive not had to be there both days or early both days.  We are slowly getting things up to snuff and working halfway correctly.  But still yet I get a phone call from materials this morning asking why a label wouldnt scan.  Come to find out its the label being incorrect and they could just type in the neccessary info.

Its snowing here lightly and we have maybe an inch to two on the ground.  Its something that doesnt happen but maybe once or twice a season here now.   I want to say it was last year around this time since the last time we got snow like this.  Im going to go get out in it tho.  We have Ryan up from South Carolina to help me at work and hes just stuck in the hotel right now doing nothing.  So Im going to get him out and run him around Nashville a bit I think.
