Cheap

You know its bad when you refuse to pay more than 35 dollars for a 100 pack of dvd+r’s. I went all around Nashville looking for media and couldn’t find crap. Actualy my last batch I bought was only 25 dollars for 100. So that kinda spoiled me thats for sure. I went online looking what the best price out there was…32 dollars shipped for brand name things. Well after like all day of driving around looking for anything and everything, I decide 35+ tax is worth it to quit and have it in my hands. Oh well I suck.

And I swear there must be something in the water at Green Hills. Over there at the Apple store yesterday…damn. I dont think there was an ugly person there. Be it man, woman, child, mentaly handicaped person…it didnt matter. I definatly didnt fit in walking around there.

Even as I type…a podcast is playing. Im so marking out for podcasts. Its pretty bad, its basicly all I listen to anymore. Even if there isnt anything Ive not heard…Ill play an old talk podcast yet again. Oh well…on to…being bored.

Bro’s before ho’s

Been a while since I got to use that phrase. It does say a lot…despite coming from 2pac and all. Oh well thats how it has to be then thats how it has to be. Im still on the hunt for just the right laptop. Mac’s are really looking tempting for the packing. Found a few Compaq/HP’s that sorta fit the bill. I just havent decided on what exactly I need in a laptop. I am tired of being tied down thats for sure. Need to be more mobile in access…its the way of the future you know. The need of having access to a terminal though which I can work on routers is being the hard part I think, cause that is a question on the Mac side I dont know of. Then the Intel/Window’s side of the camp, battery life is questionable. I dont think I want a lot….4+ hours of battery life, dvd, built in wireless, resonable amount of ports, either small or high res screen. Oh well back to ebay searching for something I guess.

Randomness

Well Im not sure anyone that reads this really knows Josh but here are some pics of his new baby.

But anyway. It was the typical Tuesday around here. Its like I just do the same thing day in day out. I need some variety in my life thats for sure. Getting in late Sunday sucked cause Im not hardly even caught up yet on all my normal goings ons around here. I am a creature of habit thats for sure, and when I get out of that routine I tend to get in a hurry trying to get back on it. Yet I complain about routine….weird I know. But as Ive said before, if Im not complaining, there must be something wrong with me. Ok Im super worn out right now…running 2 miles a little while ago so hot, sweaty, and tired. So time to start cooking I guess. I need to also play with this site a bit sometime there is so much Id like to do with it and not doing…

Summary

Well this weekend wasnt too bad. I was woefully underprepared on the audio side of the trip. I ran out of quality listening way too early in the trip and no way of getting more till I got home. Did get to see Josh and Fanessia’s new baby, it was cute but I am not a baby type of person. Got to see my friend again and was very happy about that. Didnt get to spend enough time with her this weekend tho, which was a let down, but cant do everything in one weekend ya know. Now I sit here way behind the time on getting ready for the week coming up. Im very tempted at just saying screw going to work tomorrow. If I was serious about that I should have stayed in East Tn for an extra day. But oh well Ill go and act like Im working tomorrow. Im tired…

Wrapup

Well it was a decent day I guess. Mt. bikeing didnt go to well tho. I got there and got on the trail…it was straight up, rocky, and rooty. So I pushed up the hill figuring the trail had to get better near the top. It never did. It was an ATV/motorbike trail and it was obvious that mt.bikers werent exactly welcome. I turned around and headed down. It was scarry as all hell, the ground was sandy loose and at the same time muddy slippery. Ended up just pushing the bike around all morning getting next to nothing done on it. Finaly got ahold of my friend I wanted to see. That went very well despite her already having plans we did have a decent time. Think Ill get to see her tomorrow for a little while as well, atleast I hope so. Then before heading back Ill stop at Josh’s sometime after lunch and see the baby. I guess thats what is expected of friends after a person gives birth. Ok bed time, I have a headache and my eyes are tired….

Awake

Well its 7:30am my time…and on a Saturday…and Im awake. What the hell am I doing? Im up here at Dads on the lovely dialup internet connection about to head out to do some Mt. Bikeing over in Johnson City by myself. After sitting at home last weekend doing nothing I figured I could come up here and get about the same ammount of stuff done. Josh and his wife had the baby yesterday, a little 6lb girl. So Ill go see them today or tomorrow. Beyond that I have nothing else up here to do. I cant get ahold of the one person I wanted to see a whole lot, so guess I may end up going home early if I can get to the baby asap. Call Calum and see if I can stop by his place. Even have at my disposal extra days if I need them to take off but cant immagine why Id do that right now. Ok time to fill up the camel back and head out into the fog. Its foggy as hell up here today, and somewhat cool. Trails are going to be slightly muddy from a heavy dew I do believe. Well lets go try this trail out…. Anyone that reads this blog this weekend….feel free to call the cell…..please…..Im likely bored ;)

Amazing

What I find amazing is that Ive been doing this blogging thing for
quite some time.  Its now catching on big time nationwide
tho.  It has become the new form of news and dissimination of
information.  While I do nothing that important here, it is weird
that its now a major way in news.  Anymore I only get my news by
either blog or forums, rarely do I go to a real news website.  Im
listening to hardly any traditional radio anymore, its all podcasts
these days.  More and more connected.

Yes Im at work, yes Im bored…and have a headache.  Wondering
what there is to do this weekend since it looks like our ride may not
go though this weekend either.  Rod has to help move his mom then
possibly work…so probably not doing the last long ride
together.  I could do it myself but thats just not as fun.
Ok, back to acting like Im working.  Hope to actualy put some
content here eventualy…be it content of good or bad who knows.

Nothing

Well kinda sucked. All my plans got dropped way too late to do anything about it. Thursday night at like 7pm I get told all plans were off. At that point I had maybe 2 hours to get any sort of plans made, that couldnt happen. So it was a weekend of sitting around. I downloaded way too much stuff, and watched just as too much in tv shows. I wanted to do so much but couldnt cause well…not everyone can just drop their plans and do stuff with me. Plus it was cold…barely got 60 this weekend, so hard to ride in that, my hands and toes get cold. Oh well for being useless eh. Ok on to this next week….

Hopefully will ride saturday. 31 or 62 miles, dont know which yet. Should be the last long ride for me for the season…getting almost too cold.

More veggie’s in your life

Well looks like Im going to be once again helping save America from our dependance on foreign oil. Yes once again am I going to be a diesel mechanic that is converting one to run on waste veggie oil. It is a lot of fun actualy. Hopefully we can get it running by Saturday night. Turn key in less than 12 hours if we are lucky. On the way to 40mpg on free fuel.

Introspective on myself. There is none. Im living for the weekends. I was happy at one point, right now I dont know its kinda just get though it all to get past it. Just a few weeks from when I last took a vacation and Im drained again. Who knows maybe I need to reconsider my life and job and the such. Who knows, Im tired right now.

More antics

Well went out on the trails again this week but with Chris this time. About a mile in I hear a soft “pop”. Immediatly I started laughing cause I somehow knew. Turned around and yup…Chris standing beside his bike…chain in a nice straight line on the ground. So he proceded to push it the rest of the way, about 2 miles. But the new wheels are holding up quite well. They are massive and look very cool on the bike. I do need a better front shock, but I think Ill wait and just buy a full suspension bike sometime in the future when this one finaly dies.

Not a lot really different this week as of last, just the typical stuff. I am trying to stick to the diet a little more strictly these next two weeks. Im hitting the gym a lot atleast 4 days a week and then bike a few days here and there. Ive halfway retired the road bike. We are thinking of doing a long ride on the 15th, 31 to 62 mile ride for an organization up in Ashland City, dont know yet tho. Im trying to stick to trails since there are like 2 or 3 within an easy drive of here. Its nice out so why spend it just stareing at the payvement, go look at some trees. Thinking going back up to LBL sometime soon for the ride it was fun last time, and this time I do have a nicer bike.
