Whole day
September 11th, 2005Seems like no matter how much I tell myself Im not going to use my whole day at Rod’s, I always do. Went up there for a simple bike ride early in the morning. Then looked at the clock and it was after 4pm. I guess it could be worse, I could be sitting alone or something of the sorts. Did get in 20 miles on the bike up in Ashland City. Been trying my best to get more cardio in, and I guess its working.
And well its the aniversery of the 9/11/01 attacks, and Calum’s birthday. Yet another person out there that has the unlucky fortune of having their birthday on that same day. Lots of stuff on the “learning” type of channels out there today on the whole thing. Then listening to the John Bradshaw Latham show today, Im defianatly going to have to catch that more often, he was going on about how bad Bush’s luck has been on his terms. Im not a very politcal person, some say I should be, but he has a point. We have had the worst luck these last 6 years or so. Not saying its Bush’s fault, just that a lot has happened. 9/11/01 I was in college, same dorm room as ever, and can still remember walking across campus talking to a ROTC friend of the rumors of America under attack. I had friends get affected by the many hurricanes we have had. Had friends lost in the wars in Iraq and in Afganistan….just kinda been a long decade eh….
