August 5th, 2005Well I got recruited to go to work tomorrow. Electric company is turning off the power to one of our buildings. Just so happen we do have a major server in that building. It is on battery backup. But 4 hour downtime…untested batteries…what do you do… Well Im going in and turning things off just to be sure. Stupid sql database on a windows server. Lord knows if that goes down non-gracefully…it will likely corrupt everything. Not taking a chance thats for sure. So that means up in Metro Center by 7:30am, fun stuff for me. Guess go ride the bike around downtown or something see what I can see. Or take this laptop and watch some movies…decisions decisions decisons.
Did go get the new account opened, it was mostly painless. Now to get the paycheck split between the two. Thats more of a headache than anything else cause it means stoping direct deposit for one time then it restarting. Thats a headache cause means I gota go deposit the pay check, and Im bad about getting to the bank. Oh well think im going to watch some british tv while I fall alseep
